Sri Bala Thandayuthapani Hindu Temple

This wonderful Hindu temple is just down the road from the State Mosque and is home to what is may be the largest ‘Thanga Ratham’ (golden chariot) for Lord Thandayuthapani in Malaysia.

The chariots frame is made from teak and is covered by a copper topping which is covered by gold, 2.5kg of it.

Around 1899 a local businessman saw an apparition of a boy and a peacock in a field so he funded the building of the temple at the site of his vision.

Today many worshippers and visitors attend this immaculate temple at Jalan Yam Tuan which is conveniently next to Seremban Prima shopping centre where you can park your car if driving and have a cool drink or a meal.
