Don't forget to mark January 28th in your diary to witness one of the most exciting events at Ladang Alam Warisan's Traditional Archery Festival, and my personal favourite, horseback archery.
The horseback demonstration is pencilled in for 3pm onwards but there is also plenty else to see and do that will keep you and your children intrigued, so get down there earlier and explore this wonderful kampung style festival.
There will be hand-made traditional crafts for sale, traditional fashion wear, games, weapons and goods as well as food, both traditional and from various food trucks.
The afternoon will also feature Futsal games played in sarong wearing competitors, tugs-of-war and many other activities. Perhaps your children might want to try out archery or feed and pat the many tame horses, animals and birds on site.
It is a lot of fun, so join in and dress traditionally.....you won't regret it.
The night before will also feature traditional gamelan, cak lempong, traditional songs, music and dance, all under an open, beautifully wood carved area, kampung style.
More on the festival later on in the week.
