Many years ago the National STEM Movement was established by Malaysian academicians from institutions of higher learning, who were becoming very concerned about the declining performance in science and mathematics among students in both secondary schools and universities.
As a stakeholder Universities have a critical role to play in nurturing greater interest and aptitude in science and mathematics among students from primary and secondary schools, so they are doing something about it.
Over 40 exhibitors and STEM activity providers from all over Malaysia, from Universities, STEM research groups, institutions, and various companies are coming together to offer some fun and engaging STEM educational kit developments and activities.
It will all take place on the 15th July at Dewan Tuanku Canselor, USM at Nilai from 9am-5pm. (see poster details above and below for activity providers)
