Tokong Si Thian Kong opens
There was thunder, there was lightning and a golden red sky on hand to welcome visitors and celebrants to Tokong Si Thian Kong on Friday night.
The Chinese temple, located a few kilometres past Kampung Senaling south of Kuala Pilah, is touted as the second largest in Malaysia and drew visitors from as far away as Singapore and Thailand.
Participants took part in a journey aboard the motorised boat travelling to Kuala Pilah from the temple and returning later on into the night to continue the celebrations.
Some of the areas are still under construction, like the massive entry-way, but the temple is open for visitors who want to take a look at some of the stunning carvings and for those wishing to pray.
It is truly an eye-stopping location and well worth the drive to have a peek.
