It was all hands on deck today at the Negeri Sembilan State Cultural centre as local dancers and musicians from Malaysia, Indonesia,Thailand and as far away as Russia did some last minute practise and preparation for Saturday nights big Folklore Concert at the MPS Padang in Seremban.
Authentic Thailand dance group from Tikalang were chosen by by the Thailand Ministry of Culture to perform the Joyful Drum dance which highlights the way of life for the people of central Thailand.
Indonesian dancers from Bogor will also do some traditional dances from the West Javan area.
Performers from the Negeri Sembilan district include a performance from a local orang asli community who will dance to the beat of wooden instruments that were made from trees cut down on their land.
The Folklore concert starts at 5pm on Saturday night and entry is free.
