Negeri Sembilan week-end overload
Negeri Sembilan residents face a tough choice this weekend with a myriad of events taking place in the region.
It starts off early Saturday morning in Seremban where the council sponsored family fun runners will charge off from Taman Tasik and enjoy the cool morning atmosphere.
If that doesn't suit your needs then you help keep up the district by heading down to Teluk Kemang in Port Dickson and help clean up the beaches from litter and accumulated rubbish which starts about 7.30am and finishes at noon.
Back in Seremban a convoy of four-wheel drives taking part in the Rainforest Challenge 2015 will depart for Port Dickson around 11am from Sendayan to undertake a week of rigorous testing and challenges a normal driver could not hope to achieve.
On Sunday the challenges continue for the vehicular visitors in port Dickson while another starts for the men and woman entering in the Rembau Challenge 2015.
Competitors, both amateur and professional will run along jungle tracks up hills and pedal their bikes along others as well as paddle down rivers in kayaks and tubes, over a 100km circuit.
The event is in its second year and the popularity of the challenge meant teams must have booked already to compete but spectators are welcome and organisors have created a carnival for them at Dataran Rembau from 11 am to 12pm.
Fashion, food, fun and celebrity stars like Waris, Mark Adam and Tasha Manshahar will keep everyone entertained while the athletes sweat it out.
All in all some great activities to go and enjoy.
