Crafty work on display in Seremban
We are into the second week of Seremban Lake Garden Festival 2015 and Seremban Municipal Council, in collaboration with the local Malaysian Handicraft Branch Craft Festival, are showcasing some of the traditional cultural crafts of the region at the former site of the Craft Complex Negeri Sembilan.
Various crafts such as batik, weaving, embroidery, telekong, headgear, rattan, bamboo, wood carving, ceramics, cake moulds, henna art and accessories ,jewelery including pewter, beads and pearls will be on display and for sale.
Visitors will be able to partake in the playing of traditional games, singing and also try their hand at making some of the crafts and learn something new. Traditional foods are also available to taste including lamang and rendang.
The craft festival has been running all week and will finish up on Sunday 15th November and is open from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm at the former site of the Craft Complex Negeri Sembilan.
