PUTRAJAYA: Malaysian’s who have had both Covid-19 vaccine doses may get some good news over the next few days.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will be announcing soon a relaxation of the standard operating procedures (SOP) in a total package for those who fall under this category.
The relaxation of the SOP’s includes interstate travel for spouses working separately, social activities, sports, dine-in at restaurants and travel to Malaysia. The details however are still being finalised. This is done in hope that it will provide breathing space for people to get back to a slightly better life.
The easing of restrictions for individuals who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 will be decided at the National Recovery Council meeting this week.
This move is expected to be in line with the opening of more economic sectors when states transition to Phase Two of the National Recovery Plan (NRP).
The government remains firm with its decision to proceed with NRP until the country is back on track, which our PM believes should not be too long from now. – BERNAMA
