LocaL MP from Rembau, Khairy Jamaluddin, will take over the Health Ministry and continue to battle against the vagaries of this Covid-19 pandemic.
Khairy will replace Dr Adham Baba, who will swap places with Khairy and take over the portfolio of Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry officially taking charge on Monday after been swore in.
With his move to the Health Ministry, better coordination is expected for the vaccination efforts.
Many other ministers were reshuffled including Hishammuddin Hussein (defence), Abdul Latiff Ahmad (PMD special functions), Saifuddin Abdullah (foreign affairs), Reezal Merican Naina Merican (housing and local government), Zuraida Kamaruddin (plantations and commodities), Annuar Musa (communications and multimedia), Takiyuddin Hassan (energy and natural resources) and Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar (law).
All ministers will have 100 days to be assessed on their effectiveness by Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
